PRINT DEPARTMENT / FILE 014OPEN FOR INVESTIGATION

HALFTONE DOSSIER / INK ON PAPER

Every clue leaves a mark.

Give your story a case number. Let the dots shade it, the headlines question it, and the stamps deliver the verdict.

EXHIBIT A / THE FILM03:00
An illustrated coffee cup on blue halftone paper, with offset English headlines.

An ordinary subject. A very official investigation.

02 / EXAMINE THE EVIDENCE

Print is the point.

The page is the stage. Every layer should feel pressed onto it.

A / PAPER

A sheet with a memory.

Warm cream, a little mottling, a fold. Even the night scenes feel printed.

B / DOTS

Shade with dots.

Change the dot radius and screen angle. Overprint two inks to build depth.

C / TYPE

Leave the offset visible.

Heavy headlines carry the question. A second impression sits just out of register.

D / IMPACT

Make the verdict land.

A short approach, a firm contact, a small rebound. Sound meets ink on the same cue.

03 / PRINT LAB

A little pressure. A lot of character.

Try the ingredients on an empty exhibit. Adjust the dot screen, then let the stamp settle.

An interactive style study. No story or audio is playing.

04 / OPEN YOUR OWN FILE

Bring the subject. Build the case.

A daily absurdity, an overlooked mechanism, a trail of events. Give the investigation something worth uncovering.

01

Name the question.

Who is watching, what is the case, and what changes by the end?

02

Give each exhibit an action.

Write new scenes and drawings for your subject. Let a recognizable character connect them.

03

Read it, move it, review it.

Time captions and motion to the real voice. Inspect the encoded film and report what was checked.

AUTHORING STARTER

Start with a brief.

The package supplies visual rules and empty inputs. Your Agent authors the scenes, sound and renderer for the new story.

Describe your film in the cloned studio.

Use halftone-dossier to make a [duration] film about [subject] with narration and captions in [language]. Handle setup, production and review; deliver the MP4 and editable project.

05 / THE FINE PRINT

One timeline.

Drawings, camera, captions and sound share a clock. A dot wipe covers the whole page before the next exhibit appears.

A dry voice. A physical page.

The sample uses English Chatterbox narration with a synthesized score. Voice services need their own access; the starter carries no credentials.

A sample, with its limits.

The retained master is 1080p; the online copy is 720p. Speech was checked by independent ASR. Full subjective listening and exact style equivalence have not been certified.
